Job Description
Seeking experienced 1st shift Industrial Paint Prep/Sand Blaster to work in clean and modern facility with room for advancement.

Industrial Paint Prep/Sand Blasting experience in a production environment required.
Clean and prepare parts and fixtures for painting, using air-powered sandblasting and other tools and equipment per specifications and in accordance with the production schedule.
Perform paint prep duties using air-powered sandblasting equipment, grinder, needle-guns and other powered and hand tools.
Abrade surfaces of metal to remove adhering scale, paint, grease, tar, rust, dirt, etc. To prepare for paint application.
Disassemble paint and sandblasting equipment and clean equipment using proper solvents and manufacturer prescribed methods.
Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; follow manufacturer's instructions; troubleshoot malfunctions; call for repairs and complete the daily check sheets.
Ability to wear the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required for this position, including hearing protection, safety glasses, and respiratory protection.
High School diploma or GED required.
Hours: 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm.; Monday through Friday with occasional OT (hours may vary).
Wage: depends on experience
