Job Description
Assistant Plant Controller (Finance Department)-1st Shift.
The Assistant Plant Controller is responsible for assisting with financial controls. The position will interact with management, sales and operations and provide support for the achievement of business objectives and growth initiatives.
This includes monthly operational reporting, planning, monthly closing, audit, and analysis of variances from budget and forecast. This position reports to the Plant Controller and the VP of Finance.
Schedule:
Full Time. Hours may vary. Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.
Candidate Qualifications and Considerations:
-High School Diploma required.
-Bachelor's degree preferred.
-3-5 years of relative experience preferred.
-Criminal background screening required.
-Drug testing required.
-This is an onsite position; remote working is not considered.
Job Duties
-Exercise knowledge of Cost Accounting fundamentals and analysis.
-Maintain compliance of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001.
-Critically analyze and prepare complex reports, statements, and projections.
-Define problems, collect data to establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
-Practice discretion with confidential and sensitive information.
-Evaluate equipment needs and assigned purchasing of supplies needed for operations.
-Budgeting and Forecasting.
-Maintain General ledger.
-Monthly workpapers and other financial schedules.
-Support Audit requests.
-Support Production Control.
-Manage and support IT initiatives.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Other duties as assigned.
