Job Description
Seeking experienced 1st shift Industrial Paint Prep/Sand Blaster to work in clean and modern facility with room for advancement.

Industrial Paint Prep/Sand Blasting experience in a production environment required.
Clean and prepare parts and fixtures for painting, using air-powered sandblasting and other tools and equipment per specifications and in accordance with the production schedule.
-Perform paint prep duties using air-powered sandblasting equipment, grinder, needle-guns and other powered and hand tools.
-Abrade surfaces of metal to remove adhering scale, paint, grease, tar, rust, dirt, etc. To prepare for paint application.
-Disassemble paint and sandblasting equipment and clean equipment using proper solvents and manufacturer prescribed methods.
-Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; follow manufacturer's instructions; troubleshoot malfunctions; call for repairs and complete the daily check sheets.
-Ability to wear the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required for this position, including hearing protection, safety glasses, and respiratory protection.
High School diploma or GED required.
Hours: 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm.; Monday through Friday with occasional OT (hours may vary).
Wage: depends on experience
