Job Description
Responsibilities for quality tech
-Work with production team to complete first part inspections.
-Work with Quality manager on completing VWI's and SOP's
-Record and document measurements for all PPAPS and 1st articles
-Help and lead team in all quality related corrective actions.
- Assemble all 1st article samples
-Complete quality and process related audits
-Develops stability data for existing products and new commercialization.
-Help Quality management team develop and enforce quality processes.
-Collect and file all certs, QA checks, and approval sheets.
-Help with investigating all quality defects by using the 5 why and fishbone system.
-Any other task assigned by acting management team.
-Maintains and keeps record of all Calibrations done for quality measurement tools. (Calipers, tapes, micrometers, etc.)
Qualifications
-Knowledge of precision tooling, experience with comparators, height gages, and micrometers.
-Ability to read a blue print
-Ability to understand tolerances
-Ability to legibly document and record readings.
